Mr. Dreessen is a global energy efficiency project finance and ESCO expert with over 35 years of experience in developing, financing and implementing energy efficiency projects under the ESCO savings-based model in all types of facilities, especially in industrial process plants. He has financed and implemented energy efficiency projects in 25+ countries with ESCOs he formed and operated in 10 different countries.
Mr. Dreessen has created new project-based debt products that enable commercial banks to financeenergy efficiency projects on more commercially-attractive terms for facility owners and ESCOs in Indonesia, China, and Jordan. He recently moved to Jakarta to continue the energy efficiency and ESCO capacity-building work he has been doing in Indonesia for ADB over the last 3 years.
Mr. Dreessen holds a BBA in Accounting, a MBA and is a CPA. He is the current Chair of the nonprofit Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO), which owns and manages the globally-referencedInternational Performance Measurement & Verification Protocol (IMPVP). He is a past President of the US National Association of Energy Services Companies and a recently-retired 14-year Board member of the Alliance to Save Energy.
