Ms. Chutinthorn Mankhong currently serves as Policy and Plan Analyst in her position of Chief of Sustainable Transport Promotion Group at the Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP) in Thailand’s Ministry of Transport. She has been at the OTP since 2002. In her current capacity, Ms. Chutinthorn is responsible for environmental issues in the transport sector, both at the national and international levels. Previously, Ms. Chutinthorn served in the Office of the Commission for the Management of Land Transport, within the Ministry of the Prime Minister. Since 2009, she has served as a Committee Member of the Thailand Greenhouse Gases Management Organization. She also currently represents the Ministry of Transport in many expert groups which related to Transport and Climate Change. Her areas of expertise include environmental impact assessment; climate change mitigation and environmentally sustainable transport. Ms. Chutinthorn holds an M.S. in Industrial Ecology and Environment from Mahidol University in Thailand, an M.A. in Environmental Impact Assessment and Management from the University of Manchester in England, and a B.A. in English from Srinakarinwirot University in Thailand.
